We are Stoke, a collaborative group of performing artists- actors, writers, and directors- residing in or near Nolensville, TN. Stoke is a membership based group, under the Nolensville Performance Collective umbrella, that is dedicated to creating and providing quality performance art opportunities to the residents of Nolensville.

Stoke membership is invitational, for adults aged 18+, with prior performance experience. Membership is intended to provide local artists with an outlet to collaborate, workshop, and produce original performing arts content.

After 20+ years as a performing arts professional in a variety of markets throughout the US, Ang is delighted to begin the journey of fostering a new arts community in Nolensville, as the Artistic Director of Stoke Performing Arts.

A native of Philadelphia, Ang, became a Nolensvillian by way of New York and San Francisco. As a professional actress and singer, she has worked in both film and television as well as Off-Broadway, and in regional theatres throughout the US. Locally, she has had the pleasure of working with the Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Chaffin’s Barn Theatre, Pipeline Collective, Street Theatre Company, The Humanity Theatre Project and Verge/Woven Theatre Companies. She also holds a BFA degree in musical theatre from Catawba College in Salisbury, NC.

Ang is dedicated to making theatre and live theatrical events accessible and affordable to audiences in suburban Nashville, while simultaneously engaging and encouraging local artists’ growth through the development of original work and performance opportunities within their local community. She is the proud mother of two boys, Murphy and Mack, and the grateful wife of Mike, her husband and songwriting partner.
