FOUNDER

Jen grew up passionate about the arts, always dancing, singing, and performing “for fun” with friends. As she got older she began formal dance training and participated in some local choirs. She was in Drama Club in high school, holds a dance minor from MTSU, and has taught dance and choreography to all ages.

In March of 2018, Jen started Ignite Dance Company to provide an outlet for adults in Nolensville, TN. She was missing the community and experience of dancing with other adults regularly. She wanted to get back into the art of it and the beautiful way that it connects people. Ignite rehearses weekly throughout the year culminating in a Showcase to feature pieces representing all genres of dance.

Since then, the company has grown tremendously. Seeing the success of Ignite and the real need in the community for people to have a place to pursue their passion, Jen decided to expand. Nolensville Performance Collective, LLC was born in 2021 with the addition of Stoke Performing Arts and Beacon.

Stoke offers acting and performing opportunities, while Beacon is a band comprised of local musicians and vocalists.

With the contributions of all three groups, Nolensville will see the local performing arts world grow and come to life.
